Luark Ranch and Outfitting offers Big Game Hunts. Use Luark Ranch as a base camp for big game hunting and ride our horses on King Mountain with approximately 5,760 acres to hunt. King Mountain is a non-motorized travel management area of the Bureau Land Management. Return each evening to your cabin or a hot meal at Gathering Place. Archery and muzzle-loading season is August through September. Rifle Season is from October through January.
The Colorado Division of Wildlife regulates all hunting licenses, and the regulations and dates change from year to year. Applications for hunting licenses for deer and elk must be mailed by the first of April of each year.
