Tucked away in the Colorado Rockies is a 5th generation family operated cattle and guest ranch, where part of the old west still prevails. Our family invites you and your group to be our personal guests and join us for mountain air, country living and good times at the Luark Ranch.

After your scenic drive up the Colorado River Road you will find yourself at the Luark Ranch. This is where your western adventure begins. Enjoy hiking around the ranch or up to the lake or to the Colorado River and do some fly-fishing on your own. Our private lakes are catch and release only. The views from the ranch are breath taking and you can see Castle Peak, W Mountain, Dome Peak, Middle Derby and Vail Ski area. The old logging trails on King Mountain provide ample opportunity for wildlife viewing and picture perfect photography. Our activities include horseback rides, tubing on the Colorado River and trapshooting. A recreation area provided with picnic tables, horseshoes, volleyball, and games. Then gather round your nightly campfire for evenings of good times under the stars. You might get lucky and hear the coyotes howling in the night outside your window!

We will help make your stay very special and work with you to make sure your group has a memorable western mountain adventure. Flattop rides and over-night pack trips available. Large groups welcome - birthdays, reunions, weddings, and anniversaries.
